. As many of you know we have a buyer that has worked with Tonkawood for 25 years. She is the person that buys and checks out all our horses before they come to us. Her background is extensive. She grew up with a broker father and knows all the players. She started riding in diapers. If she deems the potential horse a “Tonkawood horse” then the horse is sent to us at our Marble Falls Ranch and Miss Pam and our students evaluate them, Our evaluation process is intense. They must be good in the pasture with other horses they must be easy to work with the ground, they must have a quite attitude and the rider must feel safe. We then try to find where the horse can serve and that is why we ask you to tell us what the need is and what you expect from your horse partner. We call ourselves a dating site for the horse as that is who we represent.
