Cody

Cody is a wonderful safe good horse that we know.  He belonged to a wonderful couple that we have sold horses to in the past.  They have owed him for three years and he is in perfect shape. They are now limited in their riding activities and we were glad to have Cody to offer for sale again.  He is just a wonderful horse. He is registered Poco Pine Bar and Gay Bar King breeding.  He is 10 years old. Cody stands 14 3 hands. He has been trail ridden extensively as that is what the couple did almost every weekend. This guy is pretty, safe, bred well and a very very nice horse. He is good for the farrier, good on the ground and loads like a dream. We recommend him for any family to ride and love.

Hank

Hank is a Common Ground donation horse that came from a wonderful lady that we know.  Hank is a registered 5 year old appaloosa. Hank was purchased to be a Hunter Jumper horse and did not take well to high jumping.  He will do a cross rail and x's and is safe and wonderful with his ring work, but he does not have the jumping heart.  He is a bit lazy and that makes him a wonderful trail horse as we have seen.  He loves the trails and is safe and as sensible as can be.  We have taken him on a long Pedernales trail ride and he never made a misstep. He is available from our Common Ground Foundation.  Please see the rescue tab for information on how to purchase.  Hank  stands 16 2 hands.

Charlie

Charlie is a great 11 year old ranch gelding. He passed his evaluation with flying colors.  He came from the same ranch as AJ. Charlie stands 14 3 hands. He can rope, work cattle and seems to love trail work. Charlie passed with flying colors. He is a great ranch gelding that had good handle, safe on the trail, smart and fun to ride. He loads, is good for the farrier, will stand tied and has good ground manners. Cool fall weather makes Charlie a good candidate for long trail rides or just family fun at home.

AJ

AJ is a 12 year old ranch gelding that stands 15 hands.  He is one of the real "goodies"!! He came from a big ranch in Nebraska.  He is a gentle as they come.  He will slow lope off from a stop!. He will work a gate, side pass, go over water and any obstacle in his path.  If you want a sure enough broke quiet gelding AJ is the one.  He has a great handle even without a bridle, and he is even more amazing with one.  His manner on and off the ground are perfect.  We recommend him for any kind of rider from the novice to the experienced. HE also is beautiful and completely sound with a great confirmation.  We love these ranch horses as the ranchers breed their horses for work, not show. The criteria for a good ranch horse is first of all, good feet.  NO FOOT NO HORSE. This horse is sure footed and is extremely suited for trail and ranch riding.

Buddy

Buddy is great.  Pam showed this horse for two years.  He was sold to a family ranch that trail rode him for one year.  There are getting out of the horse biz so we have Buddy back for sale. Buddy is 17 years. He is a good western pleasure show horse, hunter under saddle, equitation and to add to his credits he is a wonderful safe trail horse.  Buddy is a big one that stands 16 hands and goes over 1000 lbs.  He is a gentle horse. If you are looking for a starter show horse he is the "goods", and if you want a nice trail ride, Buddy is safe and loves it.
